Per filings with the state of Nevada it has been learned there has been a delay, and subsequently an extension requested for the testing for emissions at the American Battery Technology Company’s TRIC recycling facility. The documentation is available on the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection website.

Short Explanation:

They have not completed the metal separation emission capture system and have not achieved full throughput on systems 1, 2, and 4. They need until June/July to finish the construction and complete the necessary emission tests.

Long Description:

In October 2023, ABTC commenced operations and initiated testing for emissions at their Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) Lithium-Ion Battery (LiB) Recycling facility.
