Per filings with the state of Nevada it has been learned there has been a delay, and subsequently an extension requested for the testing for emissions at the American Battery Technology Company’s TRIC recycling facility. In October 2023, ABTC commenced operations and initiated testing for emissions at their Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) Lithium-Ion Battery (LiB) Recycling facility. Phase 1 includes four systems, constituting the De-Manufacturing and Black Mass production phase of the company's LiB recycling platform.
